RV Roof Leak Repair
Water damage starts small and spreads fast. We track leaks to their source and reseal your roof properly, not just patch the symptom.
Learn MoreSkip the towing bills and weeks sitting in dealership queue lines. Camper John's brings master-level diagnostics and on-site repairs directly to your campsite, driveway, or storage facility.
Call, text, or submit a request online. Describe the issue and where your rig is parked.
A fully equipped mobile repair truck arrives at your campsite, home, or storage lot.
We diagnose thoroughly, quote transparently, and complete the repair right on-site.
Traditional RV service was designed around a shop model that doesn't fit the way RV owners actually live. You don't want to unhitch everything, find a tow truck, drop the rig at a dealership, and wait weeks for a callback. You want someone who shows up, knows what they're doing, and gets it fixed. That's exactly what we built our business around.
We don't have a 6-week waitlist. Once you call, we work to get a technician to you as quickly as possible — often within days.
Your rig stays where it is. We come to your driveway, campground, storage lot, or roadside — fully equipped to handle the repair on-site.
You'll know the cost before we touch anything. We explain what we found, what we recommend, and why — and we don't start until you approve.
Every service call follows the same careful, transparent process — whether it's a roof reseal or a complex electrical diagnosis.
Reach out by phone or submit the service request form on this page. Describe what you're experiencing — the symptom, not necessarily the cause. Let us know your location and when you're available, and we'll confirm a visit time quickly.
A Camper John's technician arrives at your location with a fully stocked service vehicle — tools, diagnostic equipment, and a broad inventory of replacement parts. We don't need your help setting up; we bring everything required to get started immediately.
We don't guess. We systematically inspect the reported problem area and, when needed, trace the issue back to its root cause — which is often not where the symptom appears. A stain on the ceiling, for example, might be leaking from a vent three feet away. We find the source, not just the symptom.
Once we know what needs to be done, we give you a clear, complete price before any repair work begins. We explain what we found, what we recommend, and what it will cost. No hidden fees, no after-the-fact add-ons. You make the call — we don't start until you say go.
We perform the repair using the correct materials and techniques for your specific RV system. Whether it's resealing a roof, replacing a water heater element, tracing an electrical fault, or servicing a slide-out motor, the work is done to a standard that lasts — not a quick patch.
Every repair is tested before we pack up. We run the system through its paces, confirm the issue is resolved, and walk you through exactly what we found and what we did. Only after you're satisfied do we process payment. No surprises at the end.
A few things that help the appointment go smoothly and get you back on the road faster.
Write down exactly what you've observed — when it happens, how often, and where. The more details you can share, the faster we can zero in on the cause.
Having the year, make, and model of your RV on hand helps us bring the right parts and know which manufacturer-specific quirks to watch for.
Make sure the RV is accessible — if it's in a tight storage space, position it for easy access. For roof work, clear overhead clearance is important for safety.
If your RV is under manufacturer warranty or an extended warranty policy, have the provider name and policy number available. We can coordinate directly with most major warranty companies.
We've been doing this for over 30 years. Our approach hasn't changed: find the real problem, fix it properly, and treat every customer's RV like it's our own.
We've worked on everything from 1970s Airstreams to the latest luxury coaches. That depth of experience means faster diagnostics and better repairs.
We don't blindly swap parts hoping something sticks. We trace problems to their actual source — which protects you from repeat failures and unnecessary costs.
Coordinating with extended warranty companies is frustrating. We handle the authorization process and documentation on your behalf.

We charge a standard service call fee to cover the drive to your location. That fee goes toward the repair cost when you approve the work -- so if we fix something, there is no separate diagnostic charge on top of the repair price.
Our service vehicle carries an extensive inventory of commonly needed parts, which covers the majority of repairs on the first visit. If a specialty item needs to be sourced, we'll tell you exactly what's needed, provide a timeline, and schedule a return visit. You're never left guessing.
We serve 35++ counties across Tennessee, including Nashville, Knoxville, Murfreesboro, Clarksville, Crossville, and the Smoky Mountains region. Our home base is McMinnville, TN.
We work on all types: motorhomes (Class A, B, and C), travel trailers, fifth wheels, camper vans, and toy haulers. Whether you have a vintage unit or a brand-new luxury coach, our experience covers a wide range of systems and manufacturers.
Yes, we understand that RV issues often happen when you're actively camping or planning to leave for a trip. We schedule service Monday through Saturday and can sometimes accommodate urgent weekend calls depending on availability.
Absolutely — campgrounds are one of the most common service locations we visit. Whether you're set up at a state park, a private campsite, or an RV resort, we'll come to your site. You don't need to break camp or move the rig.
That's what the diagnostic visit is for. You don't need to know the root cause — that's our job. Describe what you're experiencing (the symptom), and we'll systematically track down the cause and explain it clearly before recommending any repair.
Repair time depends entirely on the job. A simple reseal or a component swap might take under an hour. More involved electrical or plumbing work can take several hours. Before we start anything, we'll give you a realistic time estimate so you can plan accordingly.
Payment is collected after the job is completed to your satisfaction. We don't ask for advance payment on standard service calls. Once the repair is done and tested, we'll walk you through everything we did and then process payment.
We accept all major credit cards, debit cards, cash, and most common mobile payment apps. If you're working with an extended warranty company, we can also coordinate directly with them to handle the authorization and claim process.
Tell us a bit about your RV and what's going on — we'll follow up to schedule your on-site visit.
