He meticulously installed wiring harnesses, ran plumbing lines, laid down flooring, and sealed roofs. That foundational, hands-on knowledge — truly understanding the literal bones of the coach, the intricate maze of 12-volt and 110-volt wiring hidden behind thin walls, the complex plumbing and holding tank systems, and the crucial structural integrity of motorhomes, travel trailers, and massive fifth wheels — is something you simply cannot learn from reading a service manual or taking a quick weekend certification course. It requires years of repetition, observation, and a dedication to the craft of building recreational vehicles.

Over the years, John transitioned naturally from building RVs on the assembly line to diagnosing and repairing them out in the wild. Working in large dealership service centers, he saw firsthand where the factory shortcuts were often made to save time and money.
